Dr. Prabhu Nesargikar comes with a prestigious international pedigree and has over 16 years of active surgical experience working in world-class institutions across the United Kingdom, South Korea, and Singapore.

He graduated from the reputed M.S. Ramaiah Medical College, Bengaluru, where he received multiple academic accolades, including ranking consistently within the top 10 percentile of his class. Driven to scale global heights, he relocated to the United Kingdom to achieve specialized core surgical training.

In the UK, he pursued basic surgical training at Taunton, and obtained his MRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons, England. Dr. Prabhu's passion for medical education led him to Keele Medical School to work as a Clinical Tutor, earning a Masters (MA) in Medical Education with a "Merit" distinction. He completed clinical research in renal ischemia-reperfusion injuries, culminating in a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Cardiff University.

His academic excellence peaked when he ranked first in the UK National Surgical selection interviews in 2010. He underwent Higher Specialist Training in Edinburgh, Scotland, focusing on Upper GI oncosurgery and Bariatrics, ultimately obtaining his CCT from the GMC and FRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.

In Singapore, he served as Associate Consultant at the National University Hospital (NUH), gaining deep expertise in bariatric therapies and advanced endoscopic access. He now serves at HCG Cancer Hospital Bengaluru as a Senior Esophageal, Gastric, and Peritoneal Surgical Oncologist, while spearheading the LOGIC obesity management unit.
